Michele Laureen Hill, 70, of Hutchinson, Kansas passed away peacefully on August 19, 2024 at Hospice House with family by her side. Michele was born March 12,1954 to Dora Juanita Hill and Robert Lee Hill in Kansas City, Missouri before moving to Hutchinson Kansas. Michele was a child of God and spent her adult life serving the Lord. Her favorite thing to do was to attend worship services and talk about God. Michele was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church and Foundation of Life Ministries (McGee’s Chapel). She also loved to attend Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church while she was in Iowa visiting.
Michele absolutely adored her dog Roscoe and loved taking him places with her, if she was in the car, so was he. She would often travel back to Texas to spend time with her family as well as going to Iowa to spend time with her brother and sister-in-law.
She was a successful hairdresser by trade in Hutchinson and later moved to Dallas, where she worked in customer service. She later retired and returned to Hutchinson.
Michele is survived by her three children Kai D. Hill of Kansas, Kela R. Hill of Texas and Hannah O. Denton of Mississippi. Brothers: Michael L. Hill (Bobbi Hill), Steven K. Hill (Shari Hill) and Brian Tyrone Hill. Sisters: Patricia (Ada P) Hill, Glennda J. Hill, and Paula R. Hill.
Michele has 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She also has many nieces and nephews, all of which she loved and who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her mother Dora Juanita Hill, father Robert Lee Hill, brothers Kenneth Hill, Bobby Hill and her nephew Jarvis J. Hill.
Services will be held at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 1015 E. 7th Ave. Hutchinson, KS 67501
Interment will take place at the Fairlawn Burial Park.

Family only viewing 10:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. at the church
There will be no public viewing.
