Daylight saving time ends Saturday night

Posted Nov 05, 2021 3:08 PM

HUTCHINSON, Kan.— It is time to fall back. Daylight saving time comes to an end overnight Saturday. That means you have one less hour to get things done outside after work and the sun will be shining for students when they go to school.

It’s also time to change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. The Hutchinson Fire Department still has a limited supply of free batteries. Just stop by any fire station and they will give you the batteries to change up to three detectors.
