SHAWNEE COUNTY– Law enforcement authorities are investigating a registered sex offender on new allegations.
This week, the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office’s Criminal Investigations Division conducted an investigation into child sex crimes and made an arrest.
Deputies took 54-year-old Craig Melvin Wilson Jr. into custody on requested charges of Aggravated Indecent Liberties with a Child and an Offender Registration Violation, according to Sheriff's Lt. Scott Wanamaker.
