Reno County commission meeting dates moved

RENO COUNTY, Kan. — Reno County government is reminding citizens, effective in July the Board of County Commissioners will now hold their regular meeting on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month.

When there is a fifth Wednesday in any month, a regular meeting will be scheduled for the purpose of transacting a regular business meeting or holding a work session.

Reno County Commission meetings will continue to be held at 9 a.m. in the Veterans Room of the Reno County Courthouse located 111 W. 1st Ave.

The next scheduled Reno County Commission meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 12.

Any cancellation of the fifth Wednesday meeting will be announced the week prior to a fifth Wednesday. All second, fourth and fifth Wednesday meetings will be convened pursuant to K.S.A. 75-4317 et seq.
