HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Police Department has sworn in six new Police Service Aids (PSA) that are trained up and ready to help serve the community. Yaniralis Rosario, Riley Kotschegarow, Lane Bullock, Janson Robeson, Ashley Garcia, and Brec Voges.

Police service aids are part time employees, with no law enforcement powers, who assist our officers, dispatchers, and records techs in job functions.   PSA frees up officers on jobs where a law enforcement officer is not needed to do the job. This  allows officers to focus on the reduction of crime in our city.

All of the new PSA’s are local college students working on their criminal justice degree.
