Sheriff's Office looking to fill open positions

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Law enforcement agencies all over the state are trying to fill open positions and the Reno County Sheriff’s Office is no exception. 

The S.O. is looking for jail deputies, patrol deputies and patrol reserves with a new starting wage of $17.19 an hour, increasing to $18.05 an hour upon completion of a jail training program for jail deputies. 

Applicants with previous law enforcement or correctional experience may be eligible for a higher starting wage.
