HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Threes, threes everywhere.
No. 13 Hutchinson (1-0) knocked down 18 triples en route to scoring 124 points against the Fort Scott Greyhounds Tuesday night in the Sports Arena.
Returner Jayden Garrison of Little River hit 7 of 11 three-point attempts and finished with a game-high 29. Garrison made 9 of 13 overall from the field.
Aaron Franklin played just four games last year before getting injured. He scored 28 on the night and pulled in eight rebounds.
Kernan Bundy was the only other Dragon in double-digit scoring, but 13 of the 14 Dragons that played scored at least two points.
Jackson Leyba and Ty Frierson each notched nine points.
Baker Beal led the way for Fort Scott with his 33 points, while his teammate, Clance Crosby, added a double-double (24 points and 11 rebounds).

Hutchinson hit 36.7% from distance and shot 46.8% from the floor overall.
Hutchinson shot the ball 94 times, compared to Fort Scott's 65.
The Greyhounds shot 53.8% overall, but made just 1 of 8 three-point attempts.
Franklin and Garrison combined for 13 of 22 from beyond the arc. Both players hit back-to-back treys on separate occasions in the game.
