Wilma Maxine Meier, 95, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025 at Hilltop Manor. She was born on January 30, 1930 in Rocky Ford, Colorado to Walter Mathers and Agnes (Teter) Lee.

Wilma graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1949. She attended Pratt Community College. She worked at Rag Bag Fabric Store, Dillon's, Wal-Mart and Pratt Community College. She was a member of Pratt First Christian Church where she taught Sunday School. She spent time delivering Meals on Wheels and taking care of her friends by taking them to doctor appointments and places they needed to go. She enjoyed doing ceramics, crafting, sewing and seamstress and upholstery work. She was a determined lady and would do anything she set her mind to.

She is survived by her children, Janet (Wayne) Toews of Penalosa, Elaine (Keith) Ray of Pratt and Darryl (Connie) Meier of Pratt; grandchildren, Sheri (Shane) Rose of Pratt, Jeffrey (Kelly) Meier of Haysville, Kendall (Jodi) Ray of Lawrence, Michael Ray of Andover, Douglas (Katie) Ray of Pratt, Laura (Steve) Donnenwerth of Pratt, Kevin (Maddison) Meier of Breckenridge, Colorado and Kayla Meier of Pratt; 19 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren.

Wilma is preceded in death by her parents; son and daughter in-law, Marvin and Anita Meier; infant daughter, Karen Meier; siblings, Franklin Lee, Bob Lee, Elnora Phillips and Barbara Garver; and great-great granddaughter, Violet Jayde Rose.

Friends may sign the book Thursday, April 17, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 18, 2025 at Larrison Mortuary with Pastor Mike McGovney presiding. Burial will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Fairlawn Cemetery, Hutchinson.
