Kidron Bethel Village to host annual Fourth of July fireworks

NORTH NEWTON, Kan. — The community is invited to celebrate the Fourth of July at Kidron Bethel Village’s Annual Fireworks Extravaganza with arrival beginning at 7:30 p.m. Fireworks will begin at sundown. 

The free outdoor event will include family fun with games, giveaways and food for purchase, including Salted Creamery ice cream.

“We love hosting the Fireworks Extravaganza and seeing the community connect with Kidron Bethel Village,” said Linda Peters, Kidron Bethel Village executive director. “This is such a fun way for the generations to mingle.”

Several local businesses partner with Kidron Bethel Village to sponsor campus events including Fireworks Extravaganza. Sponsors include Adrian & Pankratz P.A.; The Breadbasket; The Citizen’s State Bank; Conrade Insurance Group; Everence; Ford Hearing Aid & Audiology; Furniture Warehouse; Harvey Drug & Gifts; Hillsboro Hometown Pharmacy; INTRUST Bank; Lifeboat Creative; NMC Health; North Newton Community Foundation; Peoples Bank and Trust; Powerback Rehabilitation; Roofing Services Unlimited; Somers, Robb & Robb; Union State Bank; Walmart; and Wray Roofing, Inc.

“We are grateful to the partnership of community sponsors to make this fun event possible for Kidron Bethel residents and the wider community,” said Derek Yoder, Bluestem Communities vice president of fund advancement.

Kidron Bethel Village, a Bluestem Community, is located at 3001 Ivy Drive in North Newton. Parking for the event will be marked. Lawn chairs are recommended for fireworks viewing. Flashlights may be helpful for navigating to and from parking areas. There is no admission charge.
