HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Baseball Association is hosting a baseball clinic for coaches on Sunday at 3 p.m. at Hacks at 1228 North Halstead in Hutchinson.
"We want everyone to register, so we have a headcount of who is going to come, to make sure we have enough seating," said Andrew Ehling with the Hutchinson Baseball Association. That's at usabdevelops.com. We picked this Sunday, because we knew no football. We talked about doing it earlier. That's not going to be a good idea. We won't get anybody to come. We chose this first Sunday after the Super Bowl, hoping we could get a good attendance."
The Hutchinson Baseball Association is aligning itself with USA Baseball's American Development Model.
The American Development Model aims to:
- Offer solutions for the entire baseball community.
- Enhance all participants experience within the sport.
- Promote age-appropriate physical literacy and psychosocial development.
- Underscore best practices for player health and safety.
- Encourage age-appropriate skill development progression.
