HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A new store opens Wednesday at Uptown Hutch.
Ollie’s will open its doors in part of the former JCPenney store. Ollie’s Bargain Outlet is one of America’s largest retailers of closeout merchandise and excess inventory.
The store will offer everything from housewares to sporting goods to flooring and food.
According to the store's website, much of the merchandise comes directly from manufacturers in the country and abroad. Ollie’s also works with financial institutions, helping with companies that are liquidated.
Ollie's opened in July of 1982 in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, and now has more than 400 stores in 23 states.
