HAVEN, Kan. — The Haven USD 312 School Board took time to recognize the district's third quarter Impact Award winner during Monday's meeting.
Longtime employee Gayle Delzer has been with the district since 1985 and has held numerous kindergarten and first grade teaching positions throughout the district. She is currently the ESL Title 1 teacher at Yoder Charter School. She stepped away from the district in 2004 as a teacher at Partridge, but returned in 2008 and stayed with the district when that school closed.
A member of the school district is named a winner of the Impact Award each quarter. One of the four quarterly winners is then named Impact Award winner for the year at the end of the school year.
