Dixie Ann Mathews, 88, passed away at her home in Gardner, KS on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. She was born in Hutchinson, KS on October 6, 1935 to Wesley and Edna (McKenna) Mathews.
Dixie is preceded by her parents; a brother, Seldon Mathews; and four sisters, Wanda Mathews, Barbara Dilts, Donna Matison, and Patsy Bender. She is survived by her sister, Mary Swepston of Hutchinson, KS; and numerous other friends and family.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Fairlawn Burial Park, 2401 Carey Blvd, Hutchinson, KS 67501. Flowers may be delivered to Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67502.
