Elanor Mae Sellers-McCoy, 88, died December 15, 2024, at Thorne Care Center, Hutchinson.  She was born June 29, 1936, in Hutchinson, to Earl Everett and Fern Belle (Smith) Frederick.

Elanor graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1954, and attended Salt City Business College.  She worked in the secretarial science department at Hutchinson Community College, before retiring with over 15 years of service as an administrative assistant for the dental practice of Tom Brown, DDS.  In addition, Elanor enjoyed water sports, crafts, and was very gifted at paper mache. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Hutchinson. 

On Jun 9, 1956, she married Harold E. Sellers, in Hutchinson.  He died April 22, 1975.  She later married Richard McCoy, who also preceded her in death.

Elanor is survived by:  son, Dr. Scott Sellers (Shelly) of Overland Park; daughter, Trisha Cooper (Craig) of Willowbrook; grandchildren, Tiffany Johnson (Charles), Tyler Sellers (Taylor), Colin Cooper (fiancée), Natasha Dearness), Mason Cooper, Callie Cooper, and Marlie Cooper; great-granddaughters, Bristol Johnson and Fiona Johnson; and brother-in-law, Gordon Harkness.

She was preceded in death by:  her parents; husbands, Harold and Richard; son, Grant Sellers; and sister, Marlene Harkness.

Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Elliott Chapel.  Private family burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may sign the book from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Trinity United Methodist Church, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS  67501.
