NICKERSON, Kan. — The Nickerson USD 309 School Board will have a pair of meetings next week. The board will hold its regular agenda session on Monday.
As part of Monday's meeting, the board will go over several personnel matters and discuss the purchase of furniture for the South Hutchinson Elementary School and take action on issuing a request for proposal for the purchase of a used bus.
The board will also hear the usual reports and discuss the superintendent search.
The second meeting is set for Wednesday. The board will go into executive session, at which time it will go over the list of candidates for the superintendent position. Plans are to begin interviewing candidates for the job the week of April 12.
Monday's meeting begins at 7 p.m. with Wednesday’s special meeting also at 7 p.m. Both will be at the district offices at 4501 W. 4th Ave., just west of Fun Valley.
