HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Dillons Stores are providing a little Valentine's Day cheer to those who may otherwise not get to celebrate.
As part of its annual Heart 2 Heart campaign, Dillons will be spreading a little cheer by delivering single-stem red roses to area retirement communities, hospices, community homes, and to health care workers thanks to the generosity of its Dillons customers.
For every paper rose purchased at Dillons earlier this month, a single-stem red rose is being delivered to local organizations. For the Hutchinson area that means 4,150 roses. All roses will stay in the communities where purchased.
Since the collection drive began in late January, more than 45,600 roses have been donated by Dillons customers.
