SEDGWICK COUNTY—Two people died in an accident just after 11p.m. Friday in Sedgwick County.

According to Sedgwick County Deputy Branden Stitt, a Chevy SS driven by Joseph Perry Davidson, 48, Wichita, was. northbound in the 5100 Block of South West Street near 47th Street South. The driver failed to negotiate a curve. The car left the road and rolled multiple times. Davidson  was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene, according to Stitt.

A passenger, 48-year-old Joshua Blick of Wichita, was also ejected. He was taken to a local hospital in critical condition and later died.

Another passenger, a 44-year-old Wichita man, was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Investigators believe speed and alcohol were contributing factors, according to Stitt. The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office Major Crash Team continues to investigate.
