HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Artist members of the Hutchinson Art Center have until Saturday, Aug. 29, to submit artwork for the 2026 Hutchinson Art Association Members Art Show.
The annual exhibition is open to artists of all ages and accepts artwork in all mediums. Both two-dimensional and three-dimensional pieces are eligible.
Artists must have a current Hutchinson Art Center membership to participate and may submit one piece for the exhibition. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis for diptychs and triptychs.
Submitted pieces cannot exceed 5 feet in width, height or depth and must have been completed within the past two years.
Two-dimensional artwork must be ready to hang with either a wire or sawtooth hanger. Each piece must also include information identifying the artist, title, price or "Not For Sale" designation, medium and year completed. The information should be attached to the back of two-dimensional works or the bottom of three-dimensional pieces.
Artwork must be delivered to the Hutchinson Art Center by Aug. 29 during regular business hours.
The show will open with a public reception Friday, Sept. 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Hutchinson Art Center. Participating artists are encouraged to attend, and family members, friends, Art Center members and the public are invited.
Admission to the opening reception is free.
