Nadine M. Unruh, 89, of Moundridge, Kansas, passed away Friday, October 6, 2023 at Newton Medical Center. She was born May 29, 1934 in rural Galva, the daughter of Ervin and Adeline (Nightingale) Becker.
Nadine was united in marriage to Robert D. Unruh on November 30, 1952 at Lone Tree Mennonite Church. He passed away February 4, 2010.
Nadine was a homemaker. She was a member of Gospel Mennonite Church.
Nadine is survived by two sons, Jim (Sherril) Unruh and Russell (Janet) Unruh all of Moundridge; three daughters, Nevelyn (Ronnie) Mastre of Del Norte, Colorado, Nancy (Doug) Unruh of Halstead, and Jennifer (Verlynn) Koehn of Galva; brother, John Becker of Hesston; sisters, Wilma Nightingale and Deola Wenger, both of Moundridge, and Judy (Harold) Koehn of Montezuma; 20 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; two grandsons; one great-granddaughter; one brother; and three sisters.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 9, 2023 at Gospel Mennonite Church, Moundridge, with burial to follow at the Lone Tree Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday, October 8, at Moundridge Funeral Home, with family greeting friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the church.
