HUTCHINSON, Kan. — PrairieStar Health Center is hosting a contest for grades K-8 for a name for a new character joining the Pediatric Department.
“The PrairieStar Pediatric department has a new character joining the office, but he is in need of a name that represents the students he will be greeting each day,” Marketing Director Kyran Crist said.
The contest is open to grades kindergarten through eight, students can submit one entry online at the provided link, or on the sign up form in the Pediatric Department. To be entered, submit a name, the student's name and grade, and contact information.
Entries can be submitted starting April 10; submissions will close April 24 and a winner will be chosen May 1.
Three winners will be chosen. First place will receive a $25 gift card to Freddy’s Frozen Custard, second and third will receive a $5 gift card to Dairy Queen. All winners will also receive a PrairieStar gift bag.
