HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) will begin repairing tracks at Ave D and Main Street starting at 7:00 a.m. on July 11th, 2024. Main Street will be closed to traffic from July 11 until the repairs are finished.
The city expects to reopen Main Street by 5:00 p.m. on July 17, 2024, depending on the weather and any unexpected issues.
During the closure, a detour will be in place. Drivers should use Ave F to get to Adams Street and return via Ave A.
