HARVEY COUNTY—A Hutchinson woman was injured in an accident just after 8:30 p.m. Friday in Harvey County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Dodge Challenger driven by David Wisecarver, 64, Hutchinson, was southbound on Interstate 135 just north of Southeast 36th Street.
The Dodge was behind a 1997 Stewart and Steveson pickup driven by Natasha Norlander, 44, Lake Arrowhead, California, in the left lane passing another vehicle.
The Dodge moved to the right and struck the rear of the pickup. After impact the Dodge left the road to the right and came to rest in the west ditch. The pickup stopped at the rest area just north of 125th Street.
EMS transported a passenger in the Dodge, Jacqueline Jeanette Wisecarver, 63, Hutchinson, to Newton Medical Center. The drivers were not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
