
President Trump wants to cut or completely stop the American government from incentivizing imports of biofuel, and instead, encourage American biofuel producers to make more.
An oil trade group that calls itself American, is in opposition of that and now has the backing of other organizations in pushing back against the President.

Fuel refiners want to keep importing cheaper foreign biofuel, and not have to buy American products, which benefits American farmers. The change in policy could be finalized by the end of 2025.
