
In the past two years, does it seem like you've spent more on food? Well, USDA says food spending increased 3% percent from 2023 to 2024.
This was driven by an increase in sales at grocery stores, supercenters, and other food-at-home stores. West Virginia and Kansas were the only states where total food sales declined.

By the way.... the highest increases? New York and California.
