
Roxann Louise Rutherford, 74, of Hutchinson, died November 26, 2023, at Hospice House. She was born January 15, 1949, in Hutchinson, to Earl A. and Helen M. (Youngberg) Fenwick.
Roxann graduated from Buhler High School and attended Hutchinson Community College. In addition to being a homemaker, she had worked as a receptionist at Lowen Sign Company, then in shipping at Gregory Sign Company, and then as a clerk at Hobby Lobby for 10 years. Roxann enjoyed reading, sewing, knitting, needlepoint, and crafts. She was a member of New Covenant Presbyterian Church.
On August 18, 1969, Roxann married Raymond E. Rutherford, in Hutchinson. He survives.
Also surviving are: her sons, Karl Rutherford (Marilee) of Chicago, IL, Kevin Rutherford of Chicago, IL, Kurtis Rutherford (Mary Johnston-Rutherford) of New York City, NY; grandchildren, Finley Rutherford, Aurora Rutherford; brother, Ronald Fenwick (Marsha) of Buhler, and several extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Fairlawn Burial Park, 2401 Carey Blvd., Hutchinson, with Pastor Craig Waetke officiating.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., with the family present to receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, December 1, 2023, at Elliott Mortuary.
