HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Stan Balman, a longtime TECH artist, was honored at the 2021 InterHab PowerUp! Conference in Wichita. Each year the agency honors recipients with artwork created by the persons served by InterHab members. The art is used to honor the award recipients each year. Stan’s original painting “Red Oldsmobile” was selected as a winner in the Art Category and was received by David McCabe.
The PowerUp! Conference is an annual conference designed to inspire, educate, and empower professionals who support persons with disabilities. The Art & Awards Ceremony recognizes the personal and professional achievements of Kansans with disabilities and celebrates exceptional professionals from across the region who are committed to providing the best possible outcomes for the persons they serve.
