HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Reno County sales tax receipts were down considerably for the month of October, according to figures released from the Reno County Treasurer's Office.
October numbers totaled $418,252, more than $50,000 less than the previous year and down $140,000 from the previous month.
Sales tax receipts have surpassed the previous year seven of the ten months of 2022.
Sales tax numbers for October reflect shopping trends for the month of August.
