HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Severe Weather Awareness Week in Kansas is March 4-8, 2024 and thanks to our colleagues at the KSStorm.info weather center, we will have features again this year for you to read on the different potential threats the weather can bring to Kansas.
On Monday, they will look back at 2023. Tuesday will talk about new ways to receive weather warnings. Wednesday will look at keeping pets safe in disasters. Thursday will bring an outlook for 2024 and Friday will talk about the weather hazard that kills the most people of any in the U.S. Here's a hint, it's on days some people will consider nice.
