Posted Nov 16, 2023 10:30 AM

SOUTH HUTCHINSON, Kan. — After over an hour and a half of public input on Nov. 9, the Reno County Planning Commission will consider some edits to the solar regulations document before moving it along in the process.

The Commission closed the public hearing with just a single day of comments.

The board's regular meeting is at 4:30 p.m. at the Reno County Public Works office at 600 Scott Boulevard in South Hutchinson.

Right now, Reno County is still under a moratorium on commercial solar development put in place by the Board of County Commissioners through the end of the year.
