Nadine Yvonne Bonham, 85, of Inman, KS, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Pleasant View Home, Inman.

Nadine was born in McPherson, KS on July 20, 1938, a daughter of Vernon Frances and Lois Lucretia (Fortner) Perkins.

Nadine attended Wickersham grade school, McPherson and Grasshopper Country School, rural Galva, KS and graduated from McPherson High School.

She attended Andover Lutheran Church in Windom.

Nadine was a homemaker and through the years worked as a cook for Kelly's Cafe, White Swan, and Country Kitchen to name a few. She lived 2 years in Nickerson and 30 years in Windom, until she moved to McPherson.

Nadine enjoyed country living, working in her garden, watching and listening to birds, feeding her squirrels, her flower garden, loved Christmas and Thanksgiving and decorating the house, country drives with her husband, sewing, embroidery, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family.

Nadine Yvonne Perkins was united in marriage to Vernon Bonham on July 5, 1957 at Wichita, KS. Vernon passed away on May 2, 1991.

She is survived by her children, Vernon Bonham, Jr. (Angelina), of McPherson, Carolyn Mitchell (Ron), of Hutchinson, KS, Sandra Ladet, of Las Vegas, NV, and Jackie Carlson (Todd), of McPherson; her sisters, Mary Kluss, of Nickerson, KS and Erma Perkins, of Louisiana; her 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Lois Perkins; her husband, Vernon Bonham, Sr.; daughter, Margo Parker; brothers, Stanley , Gerry, Vernon Perkins, Jr. and Chester Perkins; sisters, Betty, Barbara and Earline Perkins.

Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Andover Lutheran Church in Windom, KS with Pastor Anna Borders officiating.

Final resting place will be in Andover Lutheran Church Cemetery, Windom, KS.
