HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Underground Salt Museum announced the promotion of several key members of their staff on Tuesday.

Rachel Terry will now serve as Director of Strataca.

Chrisi Reif-Fuhrman has been appointed to the Operations and Education Manager. With an impressive 14-year tenure at Strataca, she has shown outstanding leadership and unwavering dedication to our mission. Bringing over 30 years of experience in the education field, Chrisi will play a crucial role in enhancing and expanding our education programs.

Under Chrisi's guidance, we are confident that our education initiatives will reach new heights. Her passion for fostering learning and development is truly inspiring, and we are excited to see the innovative ideas and strategies she will bring to the table.

Amber Williams has been promoted to the role of Office and Marketing Manager. Amber has achieved numerous milestones during her time at Strataca. In her new role, she will spearhead our marketing initiatives while supporting office and store development.

Derrick Pohl will now serve as Project and Maintenance Manager. Derrick's dedication and hard work have not gone unnoticed. As Project and Maintenance Manager, Derrick will play a vital role in overseeing various projects and ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained to the highest standards. Jacob Reed will transition into the role of Special Projects and Events Supervisor. With more than 3 years at Strataca, Jacob has significantly influenced our Scouting Program and developed the upcoming tour "The Lantern Tour," scheduled for launch this May. His ability to think outside the box has been instrumental in the success of our programs.
