Jacqueline Michelle Wood, 59, of Medicine Lodge, KS, died Saturday, June 15, 2024.
She was born on January 26, 1965 in Medicine Lodge, KS, the daughter of Jack D. Swonger and Frances K. (Pelzl) Swonger Land.
Jacqueline was a loving mother and grandmother who was Catholic by faith.
Surviving are her mother, Frances Land of Medicine Lodge, KS; two sons, Cody (Lindsay) Waller of Madill, OK and their children, Connor, Caylee, Cole and Cara and Jaden (Lanie) Wood of Cheney, KS and their children, Jenna and James; one sister, Renee (Rob) Paxson of Medicine Lodge, KS; three nephews, Tanner (Jordan) Paxson of Yukon, OK, Trenton (Makaila) Paxson of Medicine Lodge, KS and Taylor (Meghan) Paxson of Yukon, OK; six great nieces and nephews, as well as a close-knit group of cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Swonger, her step-father, Ray Land and her great nephew, Maddox Paxson.
Friends may sign the guest book on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Larrison Funeral Home, 120 E. Lincoln, Medicine Lodge, KS.
Rosary will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024 at 9:30 a.m., with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 300 Curry Lane, Medicine Lodge, KS with Father Emmanuel Kosikumah and Pastor Tom Walters officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Medicine Lodge, KS.
In lieu of flowers, there has been a memorial account created for Jacqueline's six grandchildren.
