NICKERSON, Kan. — The Nickerson USD 309 school district had to suspend the summer lunch program for this week. 

According to Food Service Director Robin McGlynn, the cooler at South Hutchinson Elementary that stores the summer food quit. That forced the district to empty the cooler until it can be repaired.

McGlynn says they will resume the summer food service on the normal schedule starting Monday, June 28.
