HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The City of Hutchinson Human Relations Office is teaming up with the Dr. Martin Luther King Day Committee to honor the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. and  host another Community Day of Service.

The groups are urging the community to come together and make a positive impact, embodying Dr. King's vision of unity and compassion.

You can sign up your group online for the Day of Service on January 15, 2024, starting at 9 a.m. The event will commence at the Stringer Fine Arts Center, where we'll begin with a brief program inspired by Dr. King's vision, followed by breakfast.

Volunteers will then be assigned to various sites, providing a unique opportunity to give back to community organizations alongside fellow Reno County citizens.

Much like Dr. King's dream of a unified and compassionate society, the event's goal is to foster new connections and friendships among individuals from all corners of the community.
