KINGMAN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 4 p.m. Friday in Kingman County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2023 Freightliner semi driven by Ezequiel Jorge Ramirez, 42, Wichita, was eastbound on U.S. 54 near Thompson Street.
The semi struck a 2014 Nissan Rogue driven by Carolyn Ann Groves, 54, Pretty Prairie, who was turning eastbound on U.S. 54 from a place of business.
EMS transported Groves to the Kingman Healthcare Center. Ramirez was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
