An earlier version of this post had the deadline as the end of November, not the end of December. Hutch Post regrets the error.

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — You still have time to help out with this year’s Hospice Remember Me Tree  campaign. This is the 35th year for the campaign which runs through December 31 at two area locations.

The campaign is held in an effort to raise additional funds to support the organization’s efforts to assist families dealing with end of life care. Last year’s event was moved online with favorable results. This year, donations will be accepted both in person and online.

Area residents may drop off their donations at the Hutchinson office of Hospice & Homecare of Reno County 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., through December 31 at 2020 N. Waldron Street, Ste. 100 in Hutchinson or at Lyons Federal Bank at 200 E. Ave S in Lyons.

Individuals donating $40 or more will receive a porcelain tree ornament and those contributing $75 or more will be given a Willow Tree Angel figurine.

The 2020 Remember Me Tree program raised nearly $30,000 to support Hospice programs.
