Imogene Ruth Trammell, 82, passed away on December 16, 2025, at her home in Hutchinson, KS. Imogene was born on June 15, 1943, in Pineville, MO, the daughter of Glade and Velma (Tolliver) Kidd.
Imogene worked for Eaton Hydraulics as an assembly operator. She retired after working at Eaton for 32 years. On February 14, 1959, Imogene married Everett L. Trammell in Miami, OK. She enjoyed spending her free time outdoors, where you could find her gardening, mowing her lawn and fishing. She also enjoyed spending her time with family and friends.
She is proceeded in death by her parents; husband, Everett; 10 brothers and one sister.
Imogene is survived by her children, Brenda (Marvin) Scates, Norma (Ralph) Seat, Calvin (Doreen) Trammell, Elizabeth (Robert) Garcia, Timothy Trammell, Clyde (Jennifer) Trammell and Roger (Tracy) Trammell; brother, Donald (Nelda) Kidd; 24 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
