HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson Public Works announced Monday that West 5th Avenue will be closed at the Harsha Canal Bridge for an extended period of time so repairs can be made to the bridge.

Starting Monday, March 7, the street will be closed between North Van Buren Street and North Whiteside Street except to local traffic. Motorists will detour from 5th by going over to West 4th Avenue from either Hendricks or Van Buren.

The closure is expected to last three months. If you have any questions about this or any other city street project, contact Hutchinson Public Works at 620-694-1900.
