BUHLER, Kan. — Ideatek of Buhler is expanding west. The company announced Thursday that it has established service in the small town of Bucklin.
The expansion into Bucklin is one of several community builds Ideatek has planned for 2022. Investment in fiber is a scalable solution for Kansas’ future growth.
“Ideatek’s ultimate goal is to connect every home in Kansas with high-speed, affordable fiber-optic internet,” Ideatek President Daniel Friesen said. “Our mission is to build to the standards of the future, not today. We need to provide equal opportunity to all Kansans.”
Ideatek employs more than 120 Kansans and has deployed more than 3,600 miles of fiber serving customers in more than 50 Kansas communities.
