HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Fox Theatre will be under new leadership. Fox Theatre Board Chair, Angel Dillon, announced today that the Board of Directors has appointed Josh Davies as Interim Executive Director of the Fox.
Davies, who is currently serving as technical director, was appointed to the position last week. He replaces Executive Director Chuck Miller, who served in that role since August of 2019. Miller had replaced Davies, who stepped away from the Executive Director's role to go back to the position he’s held for the past two years. Davies has been with the Fox for more than 20 years in various roles.
“The board of directors is immensely grateful for Josh and the staff at the Fox,” Angel Dillon, Fox Board Chairwoman, said. “Thanks to them, and to its loyal patrons, sponsors and supporters, the future of this great theatre is bright. We will begin a new year on a firm foundation as we work together to discern what the next steps will be for staffing and how Hutchinson’s Historic Fox Theatre can best serve the people of the Heartland.”
Dillon says the board will probably meet after the holidays to begin assessing where it will go from here in terms of naming a new Executive Director.
