
Kimeron Ray Teter, 72, passed away on June 29, 2025, surrounded by family. He was born in Hutchinson, Kansas on December 9, 1952.
He graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1970. Kimeron worked most recently for Seat King at the Hutchinson Correctional Facility for the past four years. Before that he worked for Seat King/Electrex Inc. for 15 years, and prior to that over 30 years at Consolidated Manufacturing.
On July 1, 1974, he marred the love of his life. They shared 52 wonderful years together and raised three children: Jason Teter, Justin Teter, and Jaime Hall.
Kimeron enjoyed gardening, fishing, building bird houses, weightlifting, listening to blues music and traveling to attend various concerts and collect autographs from musicians and around the world, an occasional trip to casino and dishing out the occasional can of whoop ass!
He took great pride in his work and especially valued the time he spent mentoring prison employees of Electrex/Seat King. He treated everyone with kindness and respect, never seeing anyone less than himself.
Kimeron's legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched and helped over the years. He will be loved and missed by many.
Survivors include his wife Sherrie Teter, three kids, Jason and Anya (St. Peters, MO), Justin and girlfriend Jessica (Hutchinson), Jaime and husband Christoper (Hutchinson), 6 grandkids, Riley and fiancé Chelsy, Brooklynn, Collin, Noah, Lauryn, Aleks, one great grandson Oaklyn, five siblings, Shirley Kern, Kevin Teter, Kandee McGill and husband Mark, Kasha Teter, Karma Teter and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his brother Steve Teter, mother Darlene Teter, father Charles Teter.
A funeral service will be held at Old Mission Heritage, 528 N. Main, Thursday, July 3rd at 2:00PM
Meal will be held following the service at Capital III Offices, 6 N Walnut. Please come and fellowship and share stores about Kim. Food served until we run out.
