Bradley J. “Brad” Hill, 71, died October 9, 2024, at Enterprise Estates Nursing Home, Enterprise, KS. He was born July 15, 1953, in Hutchinson, to Jay H. and Erma M. (Hemphill) Hill.
Brad graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1971, Hutchinson Community Junior College in 1973, with an associate’s degree in science, and Wichita State University in 2003 with a Master of Physician Associate (MPA) degree. He worked as a police officer in Hutchinson and Garden City in the 1970’s and 1980’s, an undersheriff in Elkhart in the 1990’s. He was a physician assistant, from 2003 to 2011 in Pratt, Wichita, and Hutchinson. Brad enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to country music concerts. He was an avid sports fan of KU, K-State, Kansas City Royals and Chiefs. Brad liked Westerns and was fond of Wyatt Earp. He loved to spend time with his children and attending their sporting events.
Brad married Joni Razo at Westside Baptist Church, Hutchinson, in 1981, and shared over 18 years of marriage.
Brad is survived by: children, Lance (Julie) Hill of Crystal Lake, IL, Lindsay Hill, Skylar (fiancée, Brooke Davis) Hill, all of Hutchinson; granddaughters, Felicity and Adalyn Hill of Crystal Lake, IL; siblings, Craig (Mark Summers) Hill of Fort Wayne, IN, Richard (Nelly) Hill of Brock, TX, and Janice (Tim) Stangel of Concordia.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 14, 2024, in the Valley Township Cemetery, E. Longview Rd., Burrton, with Pastor Matt Stafford officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 12 to 5 p.m. Sunday, at Elliott Mortuary. Cremation has taken place.
