HUTCHINSON, Kan.— The Hutchinson Community College Board of Trustees was given an overview of a new video board for Gowans Stadium at their meeting last week.
HutchCC Athletic Director Josh Gooch advised the Board of plans to install a new 24’ x 40’ video board at the south end of the stadium. The board is to be paid for through private contributions. Current plans are for the new scoreboard to be in place and ready to be used for the NJCAA Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
The Board also received updates on its strategic planning initiatives, approved the College bills and addressed other items of routine business.
The next meeting of the board will be on Thursday, December 9. The meeting will be at 7:00 p.m. in the Shears Technology Center Justice Theater. The public is invited to attend.
