NICKERSON, Kan. — A long list of personnel matters are a part of tonight's Nickerson USD 309 School Board meeting.
The board will take action on the retirements of two classified staff and one instructor, Gary Sturgeon who is the language arts teacher at NHS.
The board will also consider the resignations of NHS Volleyball coach Ashley Franklin and football coach Reggie Langford.
Also this evening, the board will consider an early release day for students at the high school on December 17th to accommodate the debate regional going on at the high school. All of these items are a part of tonight’s consent agenda.
Finally, the board will go over the classified handbook and hear the usual board reports. Tonight’s meeting of the Nickerson USD 309 School Board begins at 7 p.m. at Reno Valley Middle School at 1616 Wilshire Dr.
