Roy Hunt, 80, of McPherson, KS, passed away Monday, July 31, 2023 at Pleasant View Home, Inman, KS.
Roy was born in Conway, KS on January 14, 1943, the son of Paul and Rose Hunt. Roy attended Conway and Windom grade school and graduated from Windom High School, Windom, KS in 1961. He attended Monitor Community Church of the Brethren, rural McPherson.
Through the years Roy worked as a mechanic and farmer in McPherson.
Roy enjoyed remote control airplanes, loved to visit and spend time with his friends and family. Roy was united in marriage to Judy Buist on January 2, 1988 in Fresno, California.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Judy Hunt, of McPherson, Kansas. Roy was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 10:30 am at Monitor Community Church of the Brethren Cemetery, rural McPherson, Kansas, with Pastor John Hoffman officiating.
