David Maurice Cole, 26, passed away May 24, 2023, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. He was born October 19, 1996, in Hutchinson, the son of Alan Floyd and Shelly Kay Wolf Cole. He was a graduate of Buhler High School and had attended Hutchinson Community College.
David had a love for music, especially singing, at which he excelled. He loved basketball, especially the LA Lakers. He was a cornhole champion, enjoyed playing frisbee golf and spending time with his friends. He was a total mama’s boy and had a smile that was super contagious.
David was baptized at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church, Hutchinson.
He is survived by his parents, Alan and Shelly, Buhler; a brother, Jonny Cole, Hutchinson; maternal grandparents, Billie and Christine Wolf, Medora; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Maurice and Bonnie Cole and his aunt, Christine McGahan.
Cremation is planned. Family will receive friends Monday, May 29, 2023, from 5PM-7PM at Inman Funeral Home. Parish rosary will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church, Hutchinson, followed by funeral mass at 10:30 AM. The service will be live streamed on the Inman Funeral Home Facebook page.
