Ingaby Bell Kelley, 91, passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, October 14, 2022 in Wichita.  She was born in Milo, Missouri to James Loyd Shafer and Bertha Ellen (Ritchey) Shafer.  She was raised and attended various schools in the surrounding area with her brothers and sisters.  The family has many stories of their mischiefs which always brought a smile to their faces.  Often their trips to town were on the families flatbed truck.  She loved playing basketball and sports at school.

She moved with her parents and family to El Dorado, Kansas. On the coldest day of the year 1947 she gave birth to her son Charles Dixon.  They moved to Eureka, and lived where her daughter Coleen was born in 1956.  The family moved to Wichita then where she has resided ever since. She has left her family with so many wonderful memories as a wonderful wife, mom, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend. Her love of sports and following her children and grandchildren's games of soccer, baseball, basketball, dance, music and so much more.  A ride in her daughter's Volkswagen Beetle was her delight and love. Time spent with her family was her greatest joy.

Ingaby is survived by her son Charles (Marjorie) Dixon and daughter Coleen Suffield, all of Wichita, six grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, her fur babies Doc and Lady, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.  She was preceded by her parents, brothers Joe, Wayne, Glen and Denzil, sisters Francis, Opal and Jesse, husbands Charles Dixon, Jim Keck and Norman Kelley.

Service will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 26, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center.
