Gerald Wayne Stucky, 76, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023, at the Good Samaritan Village in Hutchinson Kansas. He was the son of Harvey Stucky, Dorothy (Krehbiel) Stucky Graber and Stepfather Donald Graber. Gerald was born May 20, 1947, at Grace Hospital, Hutchinson, Kansas. He grew up on the family farm east of Pretty Prairie, Kansas and attended Red Star Grade School. Gerald graduated from Pretty Prairie High School and attended Kansas State University for a year and a half. He was a conscientious objector and served his time at a hospital in Chicago, Illinois.
Gerald was a member of the First Mennonite Church of Pretty Prairie, Kansas. On June 23, 1973, he married Debra Bilyue and later divorced in 1983. Gerald lived most of his life as a commercial truck driver and lived in Wichita, Kansas until he moved to Hutchinson, Kansas in 2010.
Gerald is survived by: sister, Jolene Cameron and her husband John Cameron; son, Jason Stucky; daughter, Sarah Elliott; and five grandchildren, Hannah Stucky, Isaac Stucky, Josiah Elliott, Ethan Elliott, Abigail Elliott.
He was preceded in death by: father, Harvey Stucky; mother, Dorothy Stucky Graber; and stepfather, Donald Graber.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 am Thursday, December 21, 2023 at First Mennonite Church, Pretty Prairie, Kansas. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
