Penny Lee Wilkinson  |1957-2022|

Penny Lee Wilkinson, 64, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Wheatland Health Care Center. She was born on December 19, 1957 in Pratt to Merlin Lavon and Norma Louise (Noble) Parker. Penny married Brad Wilkinson in May of 1975 at Pratt Free Methodist Church. They later divorced.

Penny graduated from Pratt High School in 1975. She worked as a rural postal carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 38 years. She was a member of BPOE Elks Lodge #1451, VFW and American Legion. She enjoyed horses, dogs, cats, UTV's, 4-Wheeling, attending Chiefs and K-State football games, traveling, rodeoing, bonfires, social gatherings and having a toddy or a cold beer. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Natasha Wilkinson of Kingman; inherited daughter, Leslie (fiance', Rick Harrison) Cherry of Kingman; inherited sons, Wes (Amy) Cherry and family and Austin (Tracy) Caruthers and family all of Williston, North Dakota; sister, Jill (Jerry) Stone of Council Bluffs, Iowa; nephews, Joel Stone of Olathe and Chris Parker of Scappoose, Oregon; niece, Jenni (Craig) Hansen of Council Bluffs, Iowa; great-nephews, Dane Hansen and Drew Hansen both of Dallas, Texas; inherited grandchildren, Dalton Leis and Destiny Leis both of Kingman.

Penny is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Tim Parker.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at Elks Lodge, Pratt.
