
HAVEN, Kan. — The Haven City Council will go over two economic development requests during Tuesday’s meeting. The council will hear a proposal from Las Carnitas for funds to purchase a new walk-in cooler and a grant for Daisy Jo’s restaurant. Both are asking for $10,000 in support.
Also Tuesday, the council will consider several expenditures for Public Works, including repairs to a sewer lift station for $4,200. Finally, the council will go over a renewal of its membership to the K-91 corridor Development Association and a contract for auditing services with The Lloyd Group.
The council will also go into executive session regarding the legal case surrounding the city swimming pool.
Tuesday’s meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Haven city offices at 120 S. Kansas Ave.
